Loved my course. 9-12:30, great teachers and great city!

Ciao! This summer I spent three weeks in Florence doing two courses. I am very happy with the experience. Studia in Italia made everything perfect: the organisation and the flats they found for me. I loved the Italian course and the teacher even more.
Luiza –
I did the three-week course and I really liked the teaching and the welcome in the classroom. The location of the school is perfect! I suggest always keeping the number of students to a maximum of 8 people. Thank you for giving me a great experience in Firenze.

Hello everybody, I contacted Studiainitalia because I decided to study an Italian course in Florence. My stay there was 1 month. I had never been outside Spain on my own before, and the agency gave me all the guidance I needed to know how to organise myself when I was there. Federica and Lara quickly and efficiently provided me with accommodation according to the needs I specified, very close to the school (4 min walk) and they were ALWAYS available on the phone to answer any questions I had. Regarding my stay in Florence and the Italian course, it was a WONDERFUL experience. I quickly improved my level and both the teachers and the students were great. The activities planned by the school are geared towards learning about the history of the city, practising Italian and, of course, immersing yourself in Italian cuisine. 100% recommendable if you haven’t travelled to the city before and/or need guidance about specific courses and accommodation. Thank you again for everything!
Alejandra –
The course has been a great experience for me, it has helped me to learn the basics of Italian and to make friends with people from all over the world. The teachers are very nice and care a lot about the student, so you feel at home.
Antonio –
An unforgettable experience! It was almost like a fantasy. I had never cried with emotion in my life until I set foot in Florence. Both the Italian and the painting classes were spectacular. I learned a lot, not only about the language but also about the culture. The teachers are great, fun, always there for you and it’s impossible not to get attached to them. What can I say about the city and the region… it’s a real adventure for the soul. Listening to O mio babbino caro from the Ponte Vecchio or marvelling at the highest tower in Florence is priceless. There is nothing like getting lost in the city looking for streets less frequented by tourists and discovering unexpected stops along the way. Via Porta Rossa certainly leaves me with many memories. The flat was a joy, right in the centre, with a very nice landlady and other flatmates with whom I shared the experience. I made many friends and always spoke Italian with everyone. We went on our own tours of Tuscany and I even went to a Puccini opera in Torre del Lago. It is difficult for me to sum up in words what this trip has meant to me. I can only say that I will be back very soon and that is for sure!

Although the purpose of my week-long stay in Florence was the art history courses, I supplemented the morning hours with introductory Italian language classes. It is the first time I have attended classes on this language but in my opinion they were for the most part quite adapted to the students, who were mostly Asian (Chinese, Japanese, Korean) and the two teachers who attended me were quite friendly and pleasant. positive experience. recommended.

I want to thank StudiainItalia for all the information and help they’ve extended. In fact, Federica was especially helpful with visa paperwork and ironed out some visa process issues as well. Lara too kept in touch to keep my abreast of all back-end details I would need. I didn’t know what to expect when I signed up for this course but it turned out to be such a great experience. I studied at school in Elleny Nottas’ class, for four weeks. I started off from Level A1, completed Level A2 and did one week of B1. At the school, the director and Helen as well as Elleny ensured that we were kept in the loop of all events and activities, and were always approachable. Elleny ensured that everyone in the class was keeping up and is a really patient teacher. I really really enjoyed myself. Another aspect was that as a student at you could also sign up for cooking classes, art tours, etc at a nominal fee.
Griselda –
I was very satisfied with the Italian course in Florence, with the outstanding attention of:* The secretary, always attentive, cheerful and affable, and* The teacher Venedetta, whose totally professional work helped me to make two weeks of great progress in the language.very good support from Lara and Federica from Spain.the accommodation was very comfortable and close to the school. The owner is always attentive to the needs of the guests. I would only suggest to increase the internet speed and to accept credit cards for the payment on the spot.
Jose –
I had an excellent experience during my stay in Florence. The course, despite being intensive, is very enjoyable thanks to the teachers (Gino and Benedetta in my case), the very attentive secretarial staff, as well as the people at StudiainItalia who take care of everything before, during and after the stay. The accommodation at Mrs Raffaela’s house was very good, just two minutes from the school and in a very lively street both day and night, and the guided tours in the afternoons with Rima were a real delight… and well, what can I say about Florence and its wonders that hasn’t already been said… Without doubt an experience to repeat!
Liliana –
Hi Lara, I loved the school and the stay, the place I was assigned to live was amazing, the flat is very nice and very comfortable. And I liked the school because it is close and all the people are very nice and the teachers are very good. THANK YOU it has been a beautiful experience! Liliana, Mexico
jose –
The Italian course was very well organised, with flexibility to change levels according to progression. In three weeks I found myself able to speak Italian fluently. The teachers are excellent professionals. I would especially like to highlight the work of the charming Rima, the school’s guide, who showed us around Florence with great charm. I had problems with the first accommodation and the agency took care of finding me another one, a nice experience.
Marimar –
Very good experience, the language school is very professional, the classes are of a very good level and the classmates come from all over the world, the apartment is very comfortable and the attention of Studiainitalia is always very kind, very happy, thank you, Marimar, MX.
Alberto –
I feel satisfied with my one month participation in the Italian course taken in Florence in “Studia in Italia” school.Florence is an amazing city, small enough to easily walk from my residence to the school every day while observing and enjoying the city history and beauty. The school is located in a very nice square with many action: restaurants, cafes, stores, church, and everyday different fair. I enjoyed the pauses going downstairs to interact with the outside environment. One month is a short period of time to learn a language, however, I returned home with the basic knowledge to enter into Italian with no fear at all. During the classes we learned the basic, regular and some irregular verbs; present and past, many local phases, adjectives, doing also a lot of conversation and interaction.Benedetta was my teacher, very knowledgeable with highly developed teaching skills. The admin people was all the time very helpful, supporting the students in many aspects. I feel very satisfied with both.I see some room for improvement:-It was a little confusing the amount of books and sources we used to cover this short program.-The school offers many cultural and touristic activities that should promote with more emphasis.ThanksAlberto, USA
Beatriz –
Hi Federica The course in Italy was fantastic. The classes were really good, of very high quality and the teacher Elleny was excellent. I must also highlight the treatment of the secretarial staff who have been very friendly and helpful at all times, I returned to Spain very happy to have met you. I would definitely recommend it.
Marianna –
the school offers a complete system of education adapted to the level of each student. The way of addressing the students and teaching them is really light and fun, it is admirable how each of the teachers, having such different styles of teaching, manages to develop desire and commitment in all the students, besides the pleasantness of the space, the people and the patience they show, the general attention of all the staff is great: they are always available to solve doubts and make you feel at home. The cooking activities and guided walks, make you love the city and the people who accompany you along the way.I have been hosted by an incredible family, very nice space and how helpful they were.also the service of studiainitalia has been of great help, always attentive.100% recommended, the best I could do. % recommended, the best thing I could do.
Angelica –
My course in Italy has been wonderful. It has far exceeded all my expectations. Everything went very smoothly. I have felt at home both at the school and at home.I have learnt a lot of Italian and it has been an unforgettable experience.I will come back one day.Thank you very much for everything.I would like to ask one last favour, that you send me information about courses, I would like to come back.A kiss.
Anny karoli –
The time I spent in Italy with Studiainitalia was simply magical, it was an unforgettable experience, the teachers were very nice and patient, making it easier for me to adapt to the new language and the city, the infrastructure was comfortable, central and the didactic material was very appropriate for learning; I thank Federica for her guidance in each of the steps of the process because I live in Venezuela and from here it is a little more difficult because of the issue of the approval of foreign currency; I also appreciate her kindness during my stay in Florence; the accommodation was perfect for me with an Italian family, very nice and close. For those who want to learn Italian and live a great experience with themselves! studiainitalia is an excellent opportunity!!!!
Cristina –
It was all very good, I really enjoyed the experience. The teachers were very nice and I learnt the basics of the language as I didn’t know anything. One thing I would add is that even if you don’t know the language you should also do an entrance exam because being Spanish, I already knew many of the things we did in class… On the other hand, the family was very nice but I didn’t speak Italian with them, I expected to speak more… But overall a great experience that I will repeat if I can.
Gonzalo –
I found the course very productive, the classes are of a very high level and I think that the four skills necessary to acquire the level required by the European community are practised. Regarding the accommodation, I have to say that I had some doubts because I was the tenant of a couple who were in their seventies, it is true that I was going with some prejudices that in the end have been dismantled, the couple have been very nice to me, they have treated me very well, and I recommend it to everyone who wants to go to Florence, in case they need accommodation.
Kalua –
I didn’t have enough time… by this I mean that two weeks I think was not enough time for someone with my level (basic) but the truth is that as an experience, it was great. The school is very well located, the teachers are very friendly, kind, patient… and I signed up for almost all the guided visits to churches, museums, etc. so I was able to practice a lot listening to Italian, one night we went to the cinema and I was quite happy with everything I could understand from the dialogues :). I loved the residence, my room was big, comfortable, everything was quite clean…the landlady was very kind and friendly, Neapolitan…although there was a cat that, despite being very affectionate, gave me a lot of allergies… (I’ve had cats and dogs, I love them! and allergies don’t develop with all animals, only with some…but unfortunately with this one and I couldn’t enjoy the pet :P)The only bad thing is that I couldn’t share with my flatmate, Japanese, because we had different class schedules and also the cultures are very different, he was a bit shy…the landlady called him the “giapoghost” because he didn’t feel at home. Otherwise everything was great, the city was lovely…the weather was a bit crazy those two weeks (spring at last), but I really want to continue studying and learning to go at least once a year and practice it better…Thanks for everything, I won’t hesitate to recommend you!
Sonia –
Back in Spain I can only thank you for your wonderful management which has given me an unforgettable experience. Both the house, ideally located, and the school, with great professionals as teachers, have been excellent. I am completely satisfied with your work and thank you very much for everything.
Nicolas –
The course was perfect, it was a great experience. I improved my Italian a lot, I learnt a lot about life in Florence and I fell in love with the city!!! I miss it a lot hehehe The accommodation was great, the family was very nice and very friendly!!! my room was very, very big!!! I don’t think I have given any reason for complaint and if so, I didn’t mean to. The house was in Via Solferino and it is a very quiet street with trees, which I loved, and the school was also perfect. The teachers, both Gino and Cristiano, were very good, I learnt a lot of grammar and vocabulary, they left us films and books in Italian to practise at home. The secretary’s office, with Helen, helps you with everything you need! everyone is very friendly, I made many friends from all over the world, I’m very happy with everything, and finally our cultural guide in the city, Rima, a real professional. I learnt so much about the history and culture of Florence that we all gave her a small gift as a thank you. My conclusion has been very positive and I would like to thank you personally for everything being so well organised, thank you for everything Federica and sorry again for my sudden departure from Florence, but things happen when you least expect it, if you need any more information ask me, I will be delighted. I will recommend you to the people I know. A big hug to you all
